The Early Childhood Council for the Groton community is dedicated to the mission that all Groton children, birth to age eight, are healthy, safe, successful learners connected to strong families in a community that values diversity.
Storytime and Pond Dipping at Bluff Point State Park!
We'll gather at the picnic table near the parking lot.
Children and caregivers (Ages birth-8, but older children welcome) are invited to explore outdoors with us for a story time and pond dipping event at Bluff Point State Park - think scooping with nets and filling up buckets to discover all kinds of creatures and nature that can be found in Bluff Point's water!
Be sure to dress your children in shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting wet, and don't forget to bring a change of clothes. Caregivers are welcome to bring a blanket or chair for the storytime.
This event is co-hosted by Children First Groton and Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. We can't wait to have an adventure outside with you and your family!
